Toni & DeAndrae 🖤 The world of dog rescue and training brought us together, for which @pet.techniques and I are very grateful. These two people have such big hearts, and we are happy to know them and call them friends. (And they’re so fun to photograph! They’re an extremely photogenic family- more photos to come!)

My dear friends, Chelsea & Ash, and their Doodies (their term of endearment for their beloved dogs). We were chillin’ in their yard and decided to get some candid photos of their companion animals. (Their Fifi, aka Finn the cat, was snoozin’ in the house. We will get him on camera next time.) This was a special moment to photograph 🖤 The way the little girl is playing with her mother’s hair, the way they gaze at each other- the connection, peace and intimacy. The mother asked me if I would take nursing photos and my answer was yes!!.. always yes, and I encourage it! I love photographing intimate moments for people- beautiful, fleeting moments to document and preserve. 🖤

Congratulations to this lovely couple who recently got married and is expecting a baby boy! I absolutely loved photographing their intimate ceremony and including maternity photos into their wedding photos. This beautiful mama is simply radiant! Celebrating 9 years with this beautiful girl. 🖤 This is a particularly special adoption anniversary because she is now 10 years old, has recovered from an invasive surgery, and maintains good health despite her progressive heart disease - so we have a lot to acknowledge and appreciate. Coda continues to amazes us with her strength, energy and sweet nature. She’s an amazing dog, and I strive to provide the love, leadership and care that she (and every animal) needs and deserves. Animals do more than bring joy into our lives- they show us about love, connection, respect and compassion. People argue that humans need meat to survive, and that humans have always eaten meat and it's "natural". Do you really want to follow the logic of, "well we've always done it this way" ?? I don't have to explain where that logic would lead us if we followed that in other aspects of our lives, particularly politics and well being. And what is natural about ripping a baby cow from their mother in order to produce milk for humans? What is natural about breeding and raising billions of animals just to deprive, torture and slaughter them for human consumption and gluttony? We are so far removed from what is natural.

Please, consider making changes to your lifestyle. There are so many plant-based options to choose from. It's not that hard. It only requires compassion, awareness and some self discipline.
